At Grounded Sol, care is rooted in the understanding that mother and baby are not two separate beings to be treated independently — but a dyad. An energetic system.
For the nursing mother who wants more than troubleshooting
Breastfeeding is one of the most biologically sophisticated things the human body does. Not only is it nutrition, but circadian medicine, immune transfer and bioenergetic exhange. It is communication between two beings who were recently one (and in many ways, still are).
My lactation consulting is unique in approach. I focus on 1. facilitating open feeding postures that set stage for a baby's optimal growth trajectory and 2. building energy within the mother-baby (dyad) system. I bring clinical precision to latch assessments and milk supply strategy while seeing the bigger picture: how a mother's nervous system, nutrition, and environment shape her feeding experience. I am a registered nurse and certified lactation counselor currently completing school through UC San Diego to become an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).
Online or in-person (through home visit) within the greater Sacramento, Placer, Folsom CA area.
Care for the fourth trimester and beyond
The postpartum period is not only a recovery, but a becoming.
Postpartum packages at Grounded Sol bring together lactation, homeopathy, nutrition, and foundational rhythms into integrated, longitudinal care — because creating vitality in the mother's system is not done through a single appointment. It is a relationship, held over time, that honors the complexity of what she has just done and who she is becoming.
Packages are customized to your needs.
Homeopathy works at the level of the body's own energetic intelligence
I use classical homeopathic principles to address acute concerns and deeper patterns in mothers, babies, and children. As I complete schooling with RMDY Academy, I am currently taking cases as a student with instructor guidance and plan to specialize in homeopathic use for cycle regulation, fertility, postpartum, and complex child & infant cases.
If you are seeking homeopathic help for something else, please still reach out and if needed, I can help you find another homeopath to work with.
My approach to creating sustainable health and optimizing fertility is rooted in the foundations — living close to nature through circadian alignment and seasonal & daily rhythms.
Cycle regulation, pregnancy prep, G.I. and metabolic health support for adults and children is bundled with homeopathy consultations.

What is Bowspring?
Bowspring alignment is a paradigm-shifting method for posture. The alignments will probably not be what you have been told are correct or ‘good’ alignment by the mainstream. The bowspring posture is our natural, primordial movement and form for daily living. It reflects the natural curves of the body. It's an energetically and somatically open, dynamic posture. Created by Desi Springer and John Friend, you can read more about bowspring here:
What are benefits of Bowspring?
Bowspring provides an alignment formula to bring balanced tone to all sides of the body for optimal functional movement. In our modern world, we find ourselves most often in closed posture at desks, in cars, looking at screens, etc. Even weight training is not done with open-posture in mind. The Bowspring is a proportionally ideal curvy alignment between the head, neck, ribcage, waist, and pelvis, in which functional movement is optimized with the least amount of force required (for both women and men). It is simply the body's natural form.
Bowspring posture and activations are integrated into my work as a lactation consultant. I help parents learn to breastfeed, move, hold, and play with their babies in ways that encourage openness to create space and symmetry, as found in Michale Chatham BSN, OMT, LMT, IBCLC and Molly Peralta D.C.'s course "The Vital Baby".
Along with the everyday therapeutic benefits that an open, dynamic Bowspring posture brings, it makes sense that Bowspring alignment — through creating space and expansion from within — can also help women in pregnancy, labor, and birth.
What are the benefits of practicing together, in-person?
In-person Bowspring practice has transformed my practice. Movement is relational. In-person practice allows for coherence amongst the group. We feel each other's energy.
Toddlers and infants will be welcome in our in-person Bowspring practice. Babies are extraordinarily attuned to the postural and energetic state of their caregivers. They learn by observation. An open, grounded mother communicates safety through her body without speaking a word. When you practice the Bowspring open, dynamic posture together, with your baby, you are not just building your own physical resilience — you are giving your baby a felt sense of what an open, regulated body feels like to be held by.
In-person practice also allows for hands-on guidance that is simply more precise.

Over many years of studying health, I longed to discover the things that constitute the true foundations of creating health. I become a registered nurse with goals to work with infants and become certified in functional medicine and eventually return to school for a doctorate. My path was altered as I began inpatient work, took functional medicine courses, and realized that I was not obtaining the answers for foundations of health that I sought. As I continued to study, I came to the realization that health creation is not found in supplement bottles or even specific foods, but found in daily rhythms that harness the regenerative capabilities of our bodies. I've grown to realize that we are not separate from the rhythms of nature. We heal in nature — and through the attention and intention that we bring in our day to day.
I love the miracles of modern medicine and the experiences I had as an inpatient nurse in areas like trauma and organ transplant. But, I think we often forget or don't realize that miracles are happening through alternative medicine, too. Through simply harnessing nature, through homeopathy, through our consciousness, and by many other means.
While a surgeon may repair a broken bone or perform a life-saving trauma surgery, it is through our interaction with nature and the consciousness with which we meet our day to day that allows our bodies to harness the deep healing abilities already present within.
The body heals through mechanisms that modern medicine has never been taught to support — such as the DC electric current Dr. Robert O' Becker documented flowing through the periosteum in our bones, the exclusion zone water building at the fracture site to carry charge, the infrared light from the sun penetrating tissue and feeding the mitochondria of osteoblasts, the grounding that amplifies regenerative current, the morning light that sets the circadian rhythm that governs the inflammatory cascade, the state of metabolic ketosis that allows for deep repair and stem cell release.
Now, my work is a remembrance of what I came into nursing to do in the first place — work with infants and mothers and help famillies restore vitality through the foundations that create health.
When I sit with a mother and baby, I am not looking at two separate patients. I am witnessing a single biological system that has only recently become two bodies and in many ways, is still one.
My role in the dyad is not to fix a problem. It is to support the system. And while lactation consulting does have a level of troubleshooting, I work to step back and see the bigger picture.
I hold dear the truth that babies are aware, responsive, and communicating. Babies are sentient beings. When we stop treating newborns as passive recipients of care and start recognizing them as active participants in the relationship, things shift.
My life was changed when I began to use homeopathy. At first though, I did not understand. I only knew I was seeing it work. I am a natural skeptic and it took a lot of study before I began to understand the basis of homeopathy. Now, I believe that as the world continues to discover the intelligence of water, coherent domains, and energetic fields, we will continue to develop deeper understanding of its working and how we really are a part of a living energy universe.
It can often be said that our deepest work in helping others heal is also healing parts of ourselves. If I had access as a child or even 10 years ago to what I know now, my life would have been radically different. My work in helping children through homeopathy and metabolic support is for the purpose of paving the way for that child to heal from and then continue to grow without things like asthma, allergies, gut issues, skin problems, mental health challenges, female cycle issues, etc.
